19th census was conducted from 15 September to 15 October 2012.

The 18th census was organized in 2007, which was the first count on the basis of race.

The first cattle census was conducted in India in 1919. Then some princely states of the state also made livestock count.

Rajasthan is the first place in the country in the production of wool. And about 40 percent of the whole nation's wool is produced.

Our country has the world's first position in terms of milk production, and Rajasthan is the second largest in the country.

The highest milk production in Rajasthan is in Jaipur, Ganganagar and Alwar districts and minimum milk production is in Banswara.
