1857 revolution Some important facts

It is a complete lie that the Revolution of 1857 was only a Sepoy Rebellion because more than half of the general population of 3 lakhs of martyrs were people. When such a large number of people are involved, it is not a revolt but a revolution or war.

Only 27,000 people were hanged in Delhi.

Many tribal leaders like Saffron, Virsa Munda, Revolutionary Vasudev, from Baldev Phadke to Savarkar, Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh and many freedom fighters like Subhash and freedom fighters and non-violent movement of Gandhiji etc. all got inspiration from this revolution of 1857.

At the time of this revolution, 1213 in Mumbai, 1994 in Bengal, and 1044 soldiers of Madras were court martials.

More than three lakh people martyred in this movement, alone in Oudh, one lakh 20 thousand people sacrificed their lives. In Lucknow 20 thousand people, 6000 people in Allahabad had been killed by the Britishers.

In 1857 after the independence war of 1857, the East India Company had acquired possession of 100 pounds of shares in 10000 pounds and the British government had taken over its possession in India.
